Did the basic low res modelling in LightWave, then did the detail work in Zbrush, then I was going to bring it into Maya for surfacing/lighting/rendering. However, there’s a bug with Zbrush 3, so I wasn’t able to bring it into Maya. I did what I could though, and I’m fairly happy with the results. I’m considering this still in progress and I’ll revisit it once I can get around the technical issues.

Don’t know how I missed it, but there’s that second face on the left, the one with red eyes, looking more stern/determined than scary. That poor upper face though, man he looks upset! I wonder what Freud would say…?
I like the skill a lot. I suppose it might have been the easiest, but for me it’s easiest to see the dimension. It really rounds out nicely on the right side, where…. Well Mr. Sunshine there on the ridge of his tail doesn’t as much. But the eyes there (not the red ones)… Kind of uncomfortably real for my taste, makes me nervous looking at it, as if I should be looking behind my chair…. Nope, all clear.
