Nintendo DS Colors!
Here are a few images I drew on our Nintendo DS.
I found out about a free program for the NDS called Colors!. You need a flashcart and a microSD card to get started and then it’s just a drag and drop process to install everything. I’m very impressed.
Colors! is a very simple painting program with pressure sensitivity on both brush size and opacity. I love how easy it makes it do paint on the go. I take the DS with me everywhere now and sketch away. I’ll post a how-to in a few days.

Creature Sketch
In my continuing effort of trying to draw everyday I did a page of creature sketches in photoshop. I had fun with it, but I need to be looser and quicker about it and not think so hard. I question what I’m drawing as I’m drawing it, rather than letting myself freely explore the possibilities. Something to work on ^_^

Sketch – bowl
It’s been too long. After the end of last semester I sorta fell off the blogosphere. I had a nice relaxing winter break and now I’m back in the full swing of school. I’m taking four classes this semester; Perspective for animation, Advanced animation, Intro to anatomy and Figure modeling. I’m really having a blast, these classes are a lot of fun. My two favorites are perspective and animation.
I’ve come across a lot of wonderful concept art recently and it has been inspiring me to start practicing my digital painting again. I did a three minute sketch of a bowl sitting on my desk, I’m embarrassed to post it, it looks all crummy, but that’s all part of the process ^_^
