I had a hard time deciding how to “finish” this piece. There were a lot of things I had wanted to do with it, but I wasn’t really getting anywhere new. I kept just opening it and staring, unsure where to start. So tonight I jumped in with the intention of completing it. And I’m done.
I would have liked to have added more to the yard and possibly adding a figure towards the foreground, but overall I really like what I have. I’m looking forward to moving onto the next image! I might start something tonight, otherwise I’ll get started on something new at tomorrow nights workshop.

I like how it turned out, but then I liked it before as well. I think it has a very ethereal feel to it, which works for me. I like to re-imagine dark fairy tales as psychedelic illusions instead of actual wicthery or whatnot. If I was wandering through the woods and saw that I would suspect there was some stuff going down, too! ^_^
