Think of Kimi's cintiq, it's like that but in laptop form. I currently feel tied down to a desk whenever I want to do digital painting/sketching. I've really been interested in going out and drawing (at a cafe, on the bart etc.).

My current laptop and wacom tablet requires cords and a table or desk. It's partially mobile, I can at least get out of the house with it, but then I still feel tied down by it. In comparison on a tablet pc, the monitor rotates and folds down (so then it looks closed, but the screen is on the outside) and you can hold it with one hand and draw with the other.

It's definitely not something I need, which is why I'm having to really think hard about whether to get it or not.

What do you need a tablet for? Does it make it that much easier?
