Daily… A creature

I’m feeling really good after the first drawing session of my animal (drawing) class. We started with two miniature horses (I’ll post photos later). I’ve already started to get a handle on the skeletal structure, making it lots of fun to experiment with imaginary creatures.

Pencil sketch of a spacefaring adventurer. His ship in the background apparently has a mohawk. Neat.

Daily… Flour sacks

One of my assignments was to draw six flour sacks, showing compression, stretch and twisting. It’s to help us visualize the torso. I had fun characterizing the flour sacks!

It seems I forgot to post this one. This was a quick scrawl before collapsing into a drug induced sleep.
