I was testing out Painter 11′s Watercolor brushes, but I wasn’t too pleased with the results. I’d much rather use real watercolors. Eventually gave up and started noodling around with other brushes.

Another late night daily image, but tried to tell a simple story with it. I like the bunny balloon character, this is his/her second appearance, this time with quasi wing-ears.

Looking at it after the fact, I feel I probably could have pushed the lighting more, but at the time I was going for something more subtle. I started with random sketching, as is typical for me, and then I started to see a grumpy bunny face emerge.
