I went to the library today and came home with a stack of books, mostly art related. One of them showed some painting exercises, including a simple eye study. I went back to my desk and opened Painter 11 with the intention of playing with textured paper. While I was messing around with some of my saved brushes, I thought I’d try and start the eye study from memory.

Ended up fleshing out more of the face, but obviously only tackled the one side. The anatomy and structure is definitely funky as I had no reference, but I can at least see that I’m making progress. Sweet.
