Daily… Fairy godmother
Done for the Intensity Club, the topic was “Fairy Godmother”. I’m really not too pleased with how she turned out, but I like the little guy. Overall this piece felt like drawing fail, where it just wasn’t clicking.
I don’t like her eyes and the arm holding the wand is way out of proportion compared to the other. I also feel the need to practice drawing clothing, because her outfit is so boring. There’s like absolutely no detail work on it (lace, embroidery, or what have you).
Intensity Club 13 – Ancient Spiritual Leader
Here’s my drawing from tonight’s Intensity Club. The theme for the evening was Ancient Spiritual Leader, I sortof ended up with a yoda like character, it would seem!
Daily… Intensity club
Here’s my drawing from today’s Intensity Club over at Sketchoholic. Today’s theme was circus manager or ringleader. We had one hour to come up with our idea, design a character, paint it and upload.
Not my favorite piece, I hit some areas that showed some obvious weakness. A major one I need to work on in drawing hands, I’ve always found them hard to draw and have avoided them, rather than attacking that weakness. I don’t know about “attacking” it, but I’ll be trying to work on that!
I like the general attitude and pose of the character though.
