Tablets and New Perspectives
I got a new plastic overlay for my graphics tablet, the last one had gotten quite scratched. The tablet is working better, but that unfortunately didn’t entirely fix it. Compared to Kimi’s tablet, it just isn’t as responsive or sensitive. It’s frustrating when it doesn’t work right, but with the new overlay, it’s at least better.
I’ve noticed an improvement in my digital painting recently which has inspired me to finish some older works. I want to finish my three point perspective illustration from last semester. I had been a bit daunted by the image, but I feel prepared to get back into again. I’ll start on that tomorrow after I get some web work done.

Two Point Perspective
We had to do a two point perspective drawing for my Perspective for Animation class a few weeks ago. I did a creepy old house, inhabited by a crazy alchemist. I had a lot of fun working on this piece. I had really wanted to go all crazy with the details, but as it was, I finished this just in time.

Two Tone #3
I got home late tonight; I went to the perspective workshop hosted by my teacher, Jeremy Saliba. I had fun sketching out thumbnails for my three-point perspective piece.
I decided to try the two-tone technique in painter this time, not pleased with the results. I used the water color tool which was neat, but my execution was rather poor.
