I made a new rock brush today. I had some fun testing it out and made this image. The image is still a bit flat, I think I could have pushed the atmospheric perspective.

I was following along with a gnomon dvd tutorial by David Levy. He shows how to easily create some basic custom brushes in photoshop to use for painting.

I like the speed painting process he uses, I find it very freeing.

I’ve been experimenting with taking my sketchbook doodles and coloring them. It’s an interesting process and I’m curious to see how it evolves.

I scanned a little doodle from my sketchbook and colored it in photoshop. It was a fun little exercise, I’m going to try and do some more. I got rather distracted by games and relaxing after finishing this last semester, but I’m finally drawing again. ^_^
